How can I get a list of motherboards + PSUs that will support my Xeon Irwindales?
I believe this is our processor model:http://ark.intel.com/products/28019/64-bit-Intel-Xeon-Processor-3_60-GHz-2M-Cache-800-MHz-FSB http://ark.intel.com/products/28019/64-bit-Intel-Xeon-Processor-3_60-GHz-2M-Cache-800-MHz-FSB
Thanks,
Anna

Also, would anyone happen to know if these Xeon Irwindale CPUs (http://ark.intel.com/products/28019/64-bit-Intel-Xeon-Processor-3_60-GHz-2M-Cache-800-MHz-FSB http://ark.intel.com/products/28019/64-bit-Intel-Xeon-Processor-3_60-GHz-2M-Cache-800-MHz-FSB) draw most of their power from the +12V rails on the PSU?
Thanks,
Anna

A board with E7520 chipset will most likely support this processor. And most board design would have a seperate +12V rail from PSU to power the CPU.

The current mobo is a server and it does not have a separate +12V rail. It is the card type, so I am thinking of placing the Xeon Irwindale onto another mobo with a standard plug-in type for the PSU. Would a desktop mobo support this CPU as long as it supports the E7520 chipset?
I have a couple of desktop motherboards; how can I tell by looking at the board if it would support the E7520?
Thanks,
Anna

Better find out the board model and check with the board manufacturer.
