Intel Turbo Boost problem

Hi,

I own an ASUS N series laptop, and its processor is an Intel Core i7-2630QM.

I have a problem with the intel turbo boost monitor technology. The problem is the indicator never goes over the energy saving mode.

So, is turbo boost technology disabled ? How can i solve this ? It's very frustrating...

Try running a virus scan and see if there are fluctuations in the monitor. If there are, then turbo boost is working.

You may want to look at this /message/113047# 113047 thread related to turbo boost monitor settings. Another /message/142030# 142030 thread that you may want to look at which is a problem caused by the author(he changed the number of processor in the Boot advance option).
