Intel 320 is it okay in IDE mode?

my motherboard, ASUS P5N32, doesn't support AHCI, is it okay to buy a Intel 320 SSD? Will the Trim function with the ToolBox software will work?

Thank you in advance for your response!

Yes, it is okay if you don't have AHCI.

Trim will still work via the toolbox, but you need not actually use the toolbox if your underlying storage driver and operating system supports trim. For example, Windows 7's default 'IDE' driver still passes trim automatically.
