Just got a new DH61AG board.
Installed mem (4Gb), CPU (Intel Core I3) and a SSD.
Installing from USB (which I have done a million times) I get to the first point in the installation where I select language, when clicking next I got the following message:
"A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing. If you have a driver floppy disk, CD, DVD or USB flash Drive, Please insert it now."
But I don't have a CD/DVD drive - havn't had that for years...
I've tried both x86 and x64 Windows.
I've updated the BIOS (but no newer version avail.)
I've tried to select/deselect the Optical drives in the BIOS - change the boot order.
I've downloaded the iaSTOR driver, put it on a extra USB stick, but it does not solve the problem.
I've tried both a conventionel 2.5" Disk and and the new SSD
Nothing seems to help - Any suggestions?
It turned out, that it was the settings for the USB ports.
After trying misc. settings and a different port - I think it was setup to USB 3.0 and non legacy support - I don't know which setting that made it work, but I did experience the machine to freeze and after changeing the settings in the BIOS and using another port (yellow instead of blue) it worked.!
