I need to know if my Intel Graphics 3000 using a VGA to HDMI cable can connect to an LCD TV through HDMI without the use of a Converter and potentially play back video on HD Resolutions?
The reason I ask is because I own a G570 Lenovo with no HDMI output... and would like to connect to me TV and and the only output connections I have are VGA...
Please confirm Thanks.

Hello,
I would like to confirm that we do not recommend nor support the usage of adapters, converters or dongles since this may prevent the driver from detecting the external display. Specially when you are trying to use TV that uses a digital signal into a port that uses an analog one.
Furthermore, VGA has not been natively designed to support TV out features.
