I just picked up a DZ68DB motherboard and a Core I5 2500k. The board has a 2x2 12v cpu power connector, but my psu (an 850w thermaltake unit which is otherwise completely up to the task) has a 2x4 12v cpu power connector. Can i use this psu with my board? Do i need to pick up an adapter, only use half of the 2x8 connector, or am i stuck getting a new psu?
Yes you can use This psu,
you can split 2x4 12v cpu power connector into two 2*2 12v
there is a clip in it jusy like a arrow ,press it ,will split into two .
carefully do it....
