    DQ67EP and TPM

    Theokrat

I am interested in using the Intel DQ67EP motherboard with Windows 7 Ultimate BitLocker.

The Intel documentation mentions TPM 1.2 in relation to this motherboard.  Other vendors seem to provide a TPM header on the motherboard, but the actual TPM chip has to be purchased seperately.

I wasn't certain if that was true for this Intel motherboard or not?  Is the TPM 1.2 chip already built into the motherboard?  Or does it have to be purchased seperately?

If I recall correctly one PDF file mentioned a Nuvoton chip, but I wasn't able to locate anyone in the U.S. who appears to be selling this chip.  (Perhaps because it is already installed on the motherboard?)

      Thanks for your help.
