Same problem here. System is DOA with no video now after flashing.
You can always revert to previous Bios v.0047 by using the recovery procedure. I did it twice just to test that the Bios file is corrupted.....
Yes, had to roll back to 0047 to get the board working correctly. 0048 is a pox. Do not install! Intel, please test before releasing updates to the public.
Thank you both for the heads up on this problem. We are removing v0048 from Download Center and will restore v0047 as the latest BIOS version for these boards.
A BIOS recovery back to 0047 will restore any board that has this issue. BIOS Recovery instructions are at http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/sb/CS-023360.htm.
BIOS version 0047 is available at http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=20430. Download the TM0047P.BIO file to use for the recovery.
