There seems to be a different driver, 10.6.0.1022, dated 8June2011, but this driver does not show up when I search for drivers for my board.
Where did you find that? If you look at the driver details for the latest RST, it's as per the screenshot attached.
Do you think there may be an error on the Intel website?
The driver I installed, 10.6.0.1002, is from the "show me all the drivers that apply to the DH67CF motherboard", which are listed via this link:
The 10.6.0.1022 version, which I have seen people referencing from many other forums (especially the vendor forums for SSDs) is
Notice that 1022 > 1002 :-)
It also appears on closer inspection there is a newer 10.8.0.1003, but I could only find the F6 Floppy Installer version.
I went to my device manager, and I have the driver file details you do.
You could try the other package but be aware thedocumentation on the download page of this 'newer version' refer to the same version number you already have - ie the driver MAY be the same. You could test it out (or even just extract and examine the contents) to see and if you're not satisfied, you can always revert. To answer your heading question, the answer is both.
If it is the same driver version, then does that mean the web page is mislabelled?
