rare chip. SL96CA - 3000DP/4M/667. will it work in my motherboard?

motherboard is a Asus P5BV-C. i do not know if it has the latest bios with Wolfdale/Yorkfield E-0/R-0 stepping. it should support C0 and C2 stepping. is that good enough to flash the bios to get the E-0 and R-0 stepping, plus any fixes.

since my processor is 667mhz, that is the speed of the memory i bought.
