Hello,
I recently became a happy owner of a new PC that has the Intel i3 2100 processor. I would like to know what are the safe temperatures under load. When gaming, the max temperature that the cores have hit was 60C. Usually the hover around 53-57C while playing. Also, I'm not using the integrated graphics card to play, I have a separate GPU. I have read multiple cases of what the safe temperatures are so I thought that asking this directly on the Intel forums was the best idea.
Thanks in advance,
Amaranty

The maximum recommended temperature for the Intel Core i3-2100 is 69.1 degrees Celsius as showing at:
http://ark.intel.com/products/53422/Intel-Core-i3-2100-Processor-(3M-Cache-3_10-GHz) http://ark.intel.com/products/53422/Intel-Core-i3-2100-Processor-(3M-Cache-3_10-GHz)
It is called "Tcase" on the above link. So as long as this processor does not run above that temperature it will be OK.
