You can use this link which shows that the processor under question is a 2 core 4 thread processor: http://ark.intel.com/products/52229?wapkw=(i5-2520M). If you try reading about "SSD Optimization" it is suggested that you should set the number of processor in the boot menu to maximum. You might get a slight increase in startup speed but not really too significant.
Thanks for the reply, Boyet. I couldn't find anything about "SSD Optimization" in the link you sent me, but when it is suggested that you should set the number of processor in the boot menu to maximum, I guess in my case it would mean setting it = 2? Or should I set it to the maximum (4) available in the dropdown menu?
The link that I have provided earlier is for the processor only. For the optimization you can access this link http://thessdreview.com/ssd-guides/optimization-guides/the-windows-7-optimization-guide/. Look under Faster Boot, Configuration File Adjustment.
