The latest HD video driver is: 220.127.116.116.
You can download the executable file from the following link:
If the problem continues give it a try with a different HDMI 1.3 o HDMI 1.4 specification cable.
A BIOS update is recommended as well:
I am running the 18.104.22.1686 video driver, and also have updated the BIOS to the latest available from the website, but will try the F7 utility again. I will also check another known good cable this evening. If the issue persists, is it likely a hardware issue? My thought was that since the BIOS/splash screen displayed, it would be a driver issue.
Issue is resolved.
The issue was the HDMI cable. I had been using an HDMI 1.3 cable which works perfectly fine with a blu-ray player. For whatever reason, it would not work with the computer. A second cable did work correctly. A 3rd, brand new cable did not work for either BD or computer (yikes) and is now in the garbage. For those interested, the cable that worked was made by Gefen (unsure of 1.3 or 1.4), the other 2 were not branded, one was 1.3, the other not labelled. I can't wait for the HDMI replacement...
