I have recently been trying to learn the internals of the SCC (how to read/write from MPB, shared memory, LUT reconfiguration, etc.) without relying on RCCE. I'm using cores booted with a Linux image.
When compiling programs to run on the SCC I've been using
icpc -DCOPPERRIDGE -static -mcpu=pentium -gcc-version=340 program.c
However, when I try to compile pthread programs (appending the -lpthread flag) I get parameter mismatches that don't occur when compiling simply with gcc.
Is pthread recognized/supported in icpc?
