    New PC / Cooling Questions

    jeremyhsiung

      Hey everybody,

I just purchased a whole bunch of stuff for my new pc, and waiting to have everything delivered so I can start building. Here are my specs:

Case - Cooler Master Elite 310

      1x Stock 120mm Rear Fan

1x Cooler Master 2000RPM Side panel 120mm fan

1x Cooler Master front panel 120mm fan

      Motherboard - ASUS P8P76 LE Socket 1155 Intel P67

      CPU - Intel Core i7-2600, 3.4 ghz, 8mb L3 Cache

      Memory - 4x4 Corsair Vengeance 16gb 1600MHz

      Video Card - Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 6950 2GB PCI-E 2.0

Sound Card - Asus Xonar DX - 7.1 Channel

Power Supply - Cooler Master Silent Pro 1000W

Hard Drive - Seagate Barracuda Green 2TB

      Optical Drive - Samsung 12x BD/ 16x DVD/ CD Burner/player

Network Adapter - TP LINK 150 Wireless N

      1) Will the 1 stock fan and the 2 fans that I install be sufficient enough in keeping my computer cool?

      2) I'm afraid my PC may be too powerful. Is liquid cooling necessary/something to consider?

      3) What exactly is a Chipset fan? and where is it located? Is that something to consider as well?
      4) What about Video Card & Memory fans?

I just really don't want my PC to over heat...
