What are the specifications of your system memory? (brand, model, speed, size, voltage and timings).
Have tested it with 2 types of memory the Muskin DDR3 1333mhz 1.5v 9-9-9-24 and the Corsiar XMS3 DDR3 1600....
Cant be the ram everything was working 100% before i did the update
I just set up two of these boards with no problems.
Both using Kingston HyperX 1600 PnP (for SB)
One has a GeForce GTX260 with WD HDD and the other has 2x ATI Radeon 6950 in Crossfire with a Kingston Hyperx 240GB SSD.
The ATI system was flashed from bios 1900 to 2053 with no issues. When I went to get 2053 for the 2nd system, Intel had pulled it so I flashed to 2040.
All is well but Intel better not pull another DG45ID on me
Recommend you flash back to 2040 and wait for a new bios to be released. Obvious problem with 2053 as it has been pulled from line up and is no longer available. I finally have a stable 5.1 OC again after going crazy with 2053.
Yes that is never a good sign when they pull the bios but already gave to my customer so can't flash now.
Seems to be ok so will wait for new bios version.
This v2040 working great also.
O.K thanks guys, send the mobo back to the factory let them sort it out.
No need to send the board back. 1) download V2040 and place on a USB drive 2) place the drive in a usb slot 3) remove the bios configuration jumper 4) start the system. It will take some time but it will roll back the bios to V2040. You will be instructed when to put the jumper back. Hope this saves you the headache of an RMA
Thanks guys but send the bord back allready, every time i tried to rollback the bios it just told me bios ver x.xx is blacklisted..
Thanks for all the help!!!
My customer is reporting blue screens now....great! Damn you Intel!
I thought downgrading to v2040 was not possible from v2053?
I will try recovery to v2040 first.
