In order to troubleshoot that problem, you can try a BIOS recovery.
To perform a BIOS recovery on this motherboard, you need only to put the BIOS update files on a USB flash drive. Please refer to the website below, select your operating system and click on the first link on the screen, for the latest BIOS update. You should see a website with 4 downloads; the BIOS recovery file is the *.BIO
Then, while the system is off, connect the USB flash drive and remove the BIOS jumper from the motherboard.
Finally, boot the system. The recovery should start automatically.
Unfortunately i couldnt update my mobo.
Screen is black in one case (.BIO on cd) and on the ISO case i get a bios id not match.
On top of that last two days i've no vga output. no bios beeps , i hear funs working , system possible booted
but screen is dead. i tried also another screen but nothinng.
Any help welcomed.
Is it an OEM board or a Retail boxed Intel product? If the former then you need to use the OEMs BIOS (from the OEMs website) and NOT the Intel one or you may kill the board. You also need to leave the recovery method sufficient time to do its thing, how long did you leasve it during the BIOS recovery process?
Its inter motherboard (not retail).
The first time i remember trying bios update with the .ISO file i get the BIOS'id dont match error
and when i tried with the BIO file i get a blank screen with no output so ever.
And as i said before all that i noticed that bios id was null!
I hear no sounds,no screen activity (expect ' power saving' of the screen), no bios beeps, just the hdd spinning.
Did you read the instructions for using the BIO file with the recovery method? What you describe is normal during some BIOS updating techniques. You didn't answer my question about how long you've left it to do it's thing (after configuring the jumper and booting it with the BIO file on media).
Well... i musto not waited more than 5 minutes, although i wasnt keeping time.
Because there was not any visual feedback on my black screen after 5 minutes or so i terminated the process .
(i had seen already the bios id's dont match with the ISO method)
Anyway if i did wrong how can i resurrect the mobo?
