Can the 82599 recognize bi-directional flows?

I'm using an 82599 to load share traffic to different RX queues, and I want the 82599 to deliver bi-directional flows to the same queue. In other words, IP packets both from addrA/portX to addrB/portY and from addrB/portY to addrA/portX should be load balanced to the same RX queue. My reading of the datasheet says that the RSS hash won't do it. On the other hand, the flow directory signature filters look promising, but I can't quite work out from the 82599 datasheet how they work, or even whether it's possible to define a signature key to make the Flow Director Hash Function described in 7.1.2.7.15 hash bi-directional flows to the same signature.

Can anyone help?
