SRCSASRB controller - adding config - lost partitions in Server 2008?

Hi guys,

Hardware is SRCSASRB running under server 2008. Added some new drive groups under config wizard...Selected "ADD Configuration". Then when I rebooted server 2008, the existing partitions are GONE! I didn't change anything to the existing drive config's. Now server is asking me to initialize the "NEW" drives, which I did not.

Any ideas how to get the partitions back? The controller wizard stated there would be NO data loss?!?

Thanks.

Jason

If you reboot and go into the RAID card itself (Ctrl-C, or I, or G; I don't remember which), does it show your original RAID setup?

If not, *sometimes* you can recreate the exact same RAID setup, and *not* initialize the drives, and everything will be back the way it was before.
