    DG43GT - Stutters on Restart

    nkopp

When restarting my computer, Windows 7 (64-bit) will power down, and power will cut to the system. Then the system will fire back up for about one second before cutting power again. Then it will fire up as normal. This is with no input other than clicking Restart in Windows. Essentially, I would like to cut out the one second of cycling the system. Any thoughts on why this may be happening and what I can do to fix?

When shutting down and turning the computer on (as opposed to restarting) there is no stutter. It will shut down cleanly and start up cleanly.

I don't see anything simlar on this board or on Google, they all seem to have to do with full hang ups instead of this stutter issue. Thanks in advance!
