I have DG35EC mother board with 4MB RAM wokring with XP.
It was showing some memory dumping errors mainly because of SONY CAM CODER software which was removed.
I have installed the latest updates of XP on 12th August,2011 and got the memory dumping problem solved.
Now a new problem started- very slow booting- even the POST is very slow taking a few minutes to discplay even the first password screen.
then takes about 3-4 minutes to log on and windos XP loads and works normally.
The hard disk light is contiously on all this time.
Is it showing any serious hardware trouble? Any suggestions to solve this issue.
Oh! My son in 10 grade could solve the issue. It was a loose SATA cable.
