Is intel planning to support smart response in linux?

I am about to build a new i7 computer and would like to use the Intel Smart Response Technology, however I don't do windows and am wondering if there is, or are plans to, support smart response in Linux.

I am currently building several servers that would benefit from Intel Smart Response Technology. Linux is THE premier OS for small servers. Microsoft tech support told me they expect Windows to be rebooted regularly to correct memory leaks, often several times a month for a busy server. This is NOT reliable enough for systems that need to be up 24/7. Adding Smart Response Technology to Intel's Linux driver portfolio would be a great feather in its cap AND promote the use of Intel based systems in the server community. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, make Smart Response Technology available to the rest of the world.
