silent unattended install for proset 14.x or 14.1

i am having problems with the correct command for installing the proset wireless enterprise software for this version, 14.01.1000. It's for a Centrino advance-n 6205 card. The drivers for the device are already installed but when I create a separate install for just the wireless enterprise software i can only get it to install the admin tool but not the main utility . I am using the following:

msiexec /i "intel proset wireless.msi" /qn /norestart addlocal=wifi_software,wifi_ui,wifi_admin_toolkit

thanks

I add the WIFI_IPAN but there is still one feature missing. I can't guess the feature name and find no reference. Any way to simply install full features without having to addlocal individually?

Keith,

I have several recommendations for you.

1. Make sure all commands are in CAPS.

2. See http://www.intel.com/support/wireless/wlan/sb/CS-031852.htm http://www.intel.com/support/wireless/wlan/sb/CS-031852.htm for additional help.

3. Add WIFI_Driver to install the driver as well.

IleneK,

Sorry I wasn't clear. But the problem is that the switches from the 13.x and 12.x PROSet do not work on Windows 7 PROSet 14.x. Additionally, even though the WIFI_Software switch works, it does no install the PROSet Enterprise Software which is what I'm after.

When you try using the switches, like WIFI_Driver the error log states the feature is not available. Some of the features do install but not the actual enterprise software.

I've tried switches from both the 12.x and 13.x PROSets:

http://www.intel.com/support/wireless/wlan/sb/CS-031852.htm http://www.intel.com/support/wireless/wlan/sb/CS-031852.htm

Also, just for more info, I do know how they work. I have used them before on our XP machines successfully so it's not a matter of me not knowing how to use it.

Any additional information about how to the PROSet Enterprise Software installed silently on Windows 7 would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again, hope this helps you better understand my issue.
