    DP45SG Win7 64-Bit + eSATA

    FaultyLine

      Hello all,

I'm running an Intel DP45SG w/ Windows 7 64-bit. I'm using the onboard eSATA port. I've noticed a few different things happening with eSATA drives, of all kinds.

For the most part eSATA works fine, but every once in a while, a file copy will just stop via eSATA. It happens in either TeraCopy (V 2.12) or Windows copy.

We can resume the copy using TeraCopy by "pausing" the copy, then clicking on "resume". Another operator got the Windows copy to resume by right-clicking on the "Safely remove hardware...." and selecting the eSATA drive, Windows said that the drive was still in use, then mysteriously the copy continued.

Any suggestions on what could be causing this? I'm at a bit of a loss.

      Thanks for your help!
