I recently bought a i7 2600 K plus a dGPU and plan to use Lucid Virtu on a Z68 motherboard for power saving reasons. I wanted to know if there is an older version of Lucid Vitru for earlier Intel motherboard which came with Integrated graphics. The older machine I have contains:
i3 540 with a DH55TC motherboard. I've also bought a AMD Radeon 5450 GPU. Now, can I combine the power of both? AMD's switchable graphics is designed with laptops in mind.
Is there support from Intel on this matter?
We regret to inform you that even if Lucid Virtu does work on other chipsets than the Z68, it's not compatible with the Intel(R) Desktop Board DH55TC. The only supported boards are the following:
Intel® Desktop Board DH67BL
Intel® Desktop Board DH67CL
Intel® Desktop Board DH67GD
Intel® Desktop Board DZ68DB
