I have an DP55WG motherboard running Windows 7-64 with a RAID 1 configuraiton. For nearly a year, the system booted just fine, but after one of many windows updates, the system began booting very slowly. In particular, the boot sequence now spends more than five minutes in classpnp.sys before proceeding.
Has anyone else experienced this issue and figured out how to get around it ?
Thank you for forwarding your concern, Jeffrey. I believe that this delay may have been caused by an OS corruption, rather than by a motherboard issue.
Running a clean OS installation on a freshly formatted hard drive partition should take care of the problem.
