I have the 6 bay unit with a S3210SH board and I can not find any documentation about the leds on the drive cages. Does any body know what the different colors mean? Thanks,

Are the LEDs on the drive cage itself, or on the individual drive carriers? I know there is blinking green on the drive carriers to indicate activity.

The leds are in the drive cage. I'm getting green and yellow indications.

Are you talking about the bi-color LEDs for each drive slot? Normally those are controlled by the disk controller. Which disk controller are you using? You may also want to check the http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/server/sb/CS-025354.htm backplane cabling guide to make sure the LEDs work properly.

Besides, the backplane is not part of the mounting kit. Which backplane are you using? You may want to update the backplane firmware as well.
