I have a fresh install of Ubuntu 11.04 32bit in a separate HD. I have a working Windows 7 installation on other.
My motherboard is ASUS P6T-SE with ICH10R RAID controller with the latest bios 0908.
I have a 3,63TB RAID in four disks with over 2TB of data. Partition works well within windows. I do not need to boot from it. I do not want to loose the data.
Fdisk says it cannot handle GPT and Gparted recognizes only separate disks.
Now how do I get it to work within Ubuntu?
Please bear in mind that Intel does not provide technical assistance for Linux operating system especially if you are facing issues with RAID configuration.
You can try any of the Linux support groups to see if there are any drivers available that will provide you with the functions you require.
