I have a computer which has an intel 82865G. I conected this computer to a LCD TV (VGA) that acept only a 640x480 screen resolution.

I am using windows xp but I can´t chance to this resolution when I choose video properties.

Is the something that I can do? I can force the resolution temporaly when I chance the windows' boot. But when I turn off and turn on again the computer and start windows normally, the default resolution 800x600 come back.

Is there a chance to solve this case?

Thanks

See this link for information about video mode troubleshooting:

Additionally, I remind you that your graphics controller is no longer supported by Intel, when this happens Intel will not provide any future software updates to support new operating systems or improve compatibility with third party devices and software products.
