Enabling vPro functionality on your computer is done via the Management Engine. If you have a system from a major OEM you should see a prompt when the system is booting, telling you to press CTRL-P to enter the Management Engine setup. If you have a vPro system you purchased from a smaller manufacturer, often a local computer shop that uses an Intel branded motherboard, you can find the Management Engine setup in BIOS.
Once you have access to the Management Engine setup you can configure AMT. If this is your first time working with AMT I recommend you provision it for SMB (Small Business Mode) to explore the features. Once you are comfortable with how AMT works you can try provisioning the system for Enterprise mode, allowing you to manage the AMT settings from a remote management console.
