How to identify a disk drive in a Raid Array.

Hi, I am running Ubuntu 10.04 on an S2625 server with 8 disk raid. According to my list of devices, the raid is running quite happily as an LSI 1078 Mpt Fusion Raid device - and provides really good, reliable performance. However - a disk has failed recently so I need to identify and replace it. Question is - which disk is it?

I installed and configured the RAID using the BIOS utilities, but I monitor and control the RAID using two utilities: mpt-status and lsiutil. Both of these indicate the failed disk as Phys Disk 1. But how do I identify this is disk in the enclosure - is there a way I can get the disk lights to flash or something?

      Appreciate any advice.
