Asking for emergency help about SCC error

    youliang

When I initialize SCC with sccBmc –i , I get the following errors.

I have tried shuting down both the SCC and the MCPC for a long time, but still get the same error when reboot them, what's the reason of the error, and how can I fix it? Thank you.

If the problem persists, I would suggest to file a bug at bugzilla (http://marcbug.scc-dc.com/bugzilla3).

If repeated power cycling and training does not get rid of this error, you most likely have a bad chip or bad memory.

What we do in this case is run the memory test (it's under the Swiss Army Knife in sccGui). This will identify a Jx slot. Then, we move the memory DIMM and see if the error follows the memory. If it does, we replace the memory DIMM. If it does not, the problem most likely lies with the memory controller and in that case we replace the chip.

Are you using an SCC Data Center system? If you are, please file a bug and identify the system you are using. If you are using your own system, try the tests above. Please still file the bug for tracking purposes. We can send you the needed new hardware.
