I340-T4 adapter dropping multicast packets if other mcast socket is closed

I have experiencing a UDP Multicast packet drop with Intel I340-T4 quad port network adapter.

I believe this is caused by open/close Multicast receiving socket on the same physical network port.

      Here is my setup:

      OS: Windows Server 2003

      I340-T4 Driver version 11.4.7.0

Multicast receiving socket which suffer dropped MCast packet:

      - MCast IP: 234.234.234.234

      - Port: 12345

      - Interface: 192.168.8.11

      - receving a 14MBit source

      - experience packet drop once every 1 min

      Open and closing socket:

open a socket, listen to a source for 2 second, then close it. Repeat this cycle every 4 second.

      Socket 1

      - MCast IP: 234.234.234.234

      - Port 12345

      - Interface: 192.168.8.11

      - receive a 14MBit source

      Socket 2 - 7

      - MCast IP: 225.1.1.2

      - Port 25000

      - Interface: 192.168.8.11

      - no source

      Socket 8

      - MCast IP: 225.1.1.3

      - Port 25000

      - Interface: 192.168.8.11

      - no source

      Control socket:

Receive the same MCast source, from the same NIC card, but different physical port.

      NO packet drop.

      - MCast IP: 234.234.234.234

      - Port 12345

      - Interface: 192.168.9.11

      - receive a 14MBit source

So far we believe it's likely a driver problem.

      Can you confirm it?

      Thanks!
