    Intel® Core™ i3-2100 Processor v.s Intel® Core™ i5-2390T

I am wondering if the Intel core i5-2390T might slower than the Intel core i3-2100 in term of clock speed or frequency (GHz). Base on the review from this website: http://ixbtlabs.com/articles3/cpu/intel-ci5-2390t-p2.html.  It looks like the Intel core i5-2390T is slower than Intel core i3-2100.  Although the Intel core i5-2390T has the turbo boost technology maximum speed up to 3.5 GHz, it seems that this turbo boost doesn’t help much base on the test listed on this website: http://ixbtlabs.com/articles3/cpu/intel-ci5-2390t-p2.html.

I need an expert person could explain which processor is faster, the Intel core i5-2390T or the Intel core i3-2100. Either you can reply it here or my email address “ baoyaovinh34@yahoo.com

      Thank you,

To shortly answer your question the Core i3-2100 doesn't have the ability to use Turbo Boost technology as the i5 2390T does. What this tech does is allow the processor to safely overclock itself to meet the requirements of a heavy workload as defined by the operating system. I do not and would not reference a test to compare the two to anything more than just a clock speed as it would more than likely not be accurate. If you have any more questions feel free to ask.
