    PCIe Vendor Defined Message 0x80?

I'm developing a PCI Express device (on FPGA), and I've noticed that the device is receiving Vendor Defined Message TLP packets (code 0x7f, Vendor Defined Type 1) with Vendor ID 0x8086 (Intel, you know...) and with the forth DW ("For Vendor Definition") containing the value 0x00000080.

My question is simply: What does it mean? What is the chipset trying to tell me?

I know that the device should ignore this message, and so it does. But it so happens that something else broke in conjunction with the appearence of these packets, so maybe their meaning could give me a crucial clue.

Case details: Gigabyte G31M-ES2L motherboard, having the Intel G33 chipset and a E5700 3.0 GHz processor, with Linux kernel 2.6.38 (i686) as bundled with Fedora 15.

      Thanks in advance,
