I have a problem with the readings of temperature in the BMC. Indications of some sensors are negative (about -70 C). I have the last versions of BIOS and BMC (48; 1.23). Has anyone encountered this problem? How can it be solved?
Which specific sensor are you looking at, and what's reading? Some sensors like CPU Thermal Margin do report nagative readings, because it's not reporting actual tempture, but the offset from the TCC activation temperature.
TCC stands for Thermal Control Circuit. Thermal monitor uses the TCC to reduce the die temperature by using clock modulation and/or operating frequency and input voltage adjustment when the die temperature is very near its operating limits.
