The virtualization of Core 2 Duo E8400 can be utilized effectively as the the OS is 64 bit.
However, 64 bit OS has fewer applications than 32 bit OS. I am eager to know: can the virtualization of Core 2 Duo E8400 be utilized effectively as the OS is 32 bit?

Intel designs the Intel® Virtualization Technology, but the operating system is the one that has to take advantage of the feature, so from our side the Intel® Virtualization Technology works the same way either in Microsoft* Windows* 32 or 64 bits, I would suggest contacting Microsoft* Corporation for further information about the way the 32 and 64 bits operating systems are taking advantage of this particular feature.

Thanks. In my PC, the Virtualization Technology works good in 64 bits' Fedora or Ubuntu. I will try to use 32 bits' Linux OS.
