DX58SO2 - A corrected hardware error has occurred.  Component: PCI Express Root Port

    Bojh01

I am getting the following Event logged.

A corrected hardware error has occurred.
      Component: PCI Express Root Port
Error Source: Advanced Error Reporting (PCI Express)
      Bus:Device:Function: 0x0:0x9:0x0
      Vendor ID:Device ID: 0x8086:0x3410
      Class Code: 0x30400
The Event correspondes to the PCI-e slot that i have installed an Adaptec 6805 SATA Raid Card in. If I move that card to different slots the error will move to whatever port it is plugged in. The error occurs both in Windows 7 and also in Server 2008 R2.
I have access to a number of different Motherboards to test and the SATA card works fine in everthing other than the DX58SO2 and interesting it also logs the error on my DX58SO.
I have tried various different BIOS revisions without luck,

      Motherboard DX58SO2

      CPU - i7 970 (no overclocking)

      RAM - Corsair 24GB (6x 4GB) DDR3 1600MHz DOMINATOR

Based on my other thread http://communities.intel.com/thread/22655 it would seem that there is something different or quirky about the intel branded X58's? Any clues on how to fix this would be much appreciated.
