Good evening.
I purchased time ago a Q9450 processor with RAM 4GB Corsair DDR3 1600 MHz
The computer has always given me problems (crashed), then I changed the RAM with 4GB DDR3 1333 MHz and now it works fine.
is an incompatibility problem or RAM were broken?
Thanks,
Alessandro Caluri
Ps: Sorry for my bad English, but I'm italian...

In this particular case, the compatibility between the RAM and the motherboard is determined by the motherboard, so I would suggest checking the supported RAM for your motherboard.
Also according to the processor supported RAM frequency is 1333 MHz, so any RAM higher than that will run at 1333 MHz .
