I have recently installed Windows 7 with a raid 10 on four hard drives. Whenever I boot the OS the matrix storage manager goes through the process of inspecting and fixing a volume even though it never finds a problem. I believe this is a bug with the matrix tool. Is there any way to fix this? Any advice is appreciated.
I confirm if the "Verify & Repair" process is interrupted (by shutting the system down), then, on the next boot, it resumes automatically where it was cut off at. Hence, I'd recommend leaving the system on until it's complete; you can monitor the "Verify & Repair" process within the Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology [Intel(R) RST] console.
