Best resolution settings for core i3 with win xp

Hello everyone

I recently had my computer rebuilt with an

Intel core i3 LGA 1155

Asus motherboard P8H61-MLE socket 1155

WD harddrive 500 gb

4 gig ram

22" samsung monitor

I am running windows xp.

My problem is that everthing is very pale....internet pages, text, like a shade of grey.

the optimal setting for my monitor is 1680 x 1050. but this isn't working...

Can someone help???

Make sure that your motherboard fully supports Microsoft* Windows* XP, and if so install the latest drives available for your motherboard and all updates available for Microsoft* Windows* XP.

If Microsoft* Windows* XP is not fully supported, I would suggest then moving to Microsoft* Windows* 7 to see if that solves your issue.

Yes it does support Win xp sp3 according to the user guide for motherboard.

Comprei o meu computador na empresa SoproinfLDA e há alguns meses o meu computador me dá uma mensagem dizendo que fui vitima de falsificação de software,logo os meus altifalantes deixou de funcionar e a minha camara de video também.Outra mensagem que recebo é um ponto de interrogação no controlador de dispositivo de Áudio no barramento de High Definition Audio.O que fazer para recuperar o som do meu computador,a camera de video e o controlador perdido visto que estou sendo vitima de software falsificado e o meu computador me diga que o windows Genuino já não funciona no meu pc.
