Before two months I bought a new Gateway laptop and it details are:

1.) Intel Core-i5 2.5 GHz

2.) 4 GB of DDR3

3.) 500 GB of HDD

4.) Intel HD Graphics

i want to play games on my laptop but the games keeps lagging, this lagging must happen because of my video card and it's 1755 MB of memory (as i saw on the DXDIAG) so can any body tell me how to play games well and use the 1755 MB of the video card ???

Hello smgmc,

I see that you are inquiring about the games that you can play with your computer.

Currently there are many games that you should be able to play with your computer, you can see a list of some of them in our tested game website found here:

http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-031017.htm http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-031017.htm

Now this does not mean that only those games will play, you can also check with the different game developers for available titles that are supported for the Intel® HD Graphics controller.

As a last recommendation, make sure that your video driver is up to date. For that you can ask your system manufacturer for a system specific driver or you can try the generic drivers provided by Intel(R) by using the following update tool:

http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/detect.htm http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/detect.htm

Regards.
