I have a 7 year old Sony Vaio laptop running XP Pro with Centrino processor and Intel Wireless Adaptor 2200BG driver version 8.0.12.9000 Date:02/01/2004.
In last few days it has started to regularly crash ( several times a day) to blue screen. The blue screen message tells me it is a Wireless Driver problem and the Microsoft serious fault message takes me to the Intel website to install a newer driver. I have installed the new Intel driver several times but after installation I cannot get a wireless connection at all. If I roll back the driver I can then connect ok but the crashing problem returns. Any help very welcome. Thank you. Chris
