Have you attached the bluetooth dongle/antenna to the motherboard that came in the box?
If you did not, you will not be able to use it.
thanks for reply justin ,but this is not the problem as i have attached the antenna.
i remember it did work when i first got the board well over a year ago but i havnt been using it so i dont know when it dissappeared from windows.
is it possible i disabled it some how through windows
I just checked mine, seems to be there.
Other things to try:
- upgrade bios
- upgrade intel driver chipset software
- check to see if its disabled/enabled
yes i hav upgraded the bios and all intel drivers for the board including the chipset drivers.
do you mean enabled in the bios as i have checked that
is there anywere it could be disabled in windows
Right click my computer -> manage
Device monitor -> Network adapters
They should be under there or show with an (!) exclamation point saying they need drivers installed.
do u mean device manager?
if so there is no bluetooth listed here only "gigabit network connection" under network adapters
Yes, device manager.
Does anyone show up with an (!) exclamation point in yellow?
Is it on in the BIOS, did you confirm?
no nothing shows up with an exclamation mark
and yes i have enabled bluetooth in bios
is there anything im missing ?
What you did sounds correct, if it is all enabled etc.
-> Network adapters
-> on CSR Bluetooth Radio
-> This device is working properly.
Why you don't see it I am not sure, I have two DP55KGs but never had the problem of it not showing up..
What are you trying to use with bluetooth by the way?
ive tried a few devices a keyboard ,phone ect
im almost sure it worked when i first got board
dunno wat ive done to make it disappear tho
