Are you referring to S5000VSA by chance ? If yes, a datasheet is available that explains what the 8110 error is during POST. Per the document, it is a processor error.
Have you tried updating your BIOS/firmware to the latest version ?
if it is not the S5000VSA, can you please look at which server board it is ?
I guess the board is S5000VSA?
Anyway, 8110 = Processor 01 internal error (IERR) on last boot. You may try to set "Processor Retest" to "Enabled" under Advanced => Processor Configuration menu in BIOS. What processor are you using? What is your BIOS version? Can you also get the PBA number of the board?
The most common cause of an IERR is a add in card or device.
Try removing AC
Remove all add in card
The see if it boots ok
If so, update the code stack
then add your cards back 1 at a time to isolate any that might be causing the error.
IERR gives the processor a bad rap since most people assume that an Internal Processor Error (IERR) is a processor issue.
90% of the time is is some down stream device that quit working while the processor is waiting on a response from it, times out and asserts IERR.
Thermal issues (bad fan) can also bring on IERR.
Here is errors thats are generated when post boots
8160 major 1
Processor 01 unable to apply microcode update. Microcode version 01. The error code value identifies the error. major severity requires user intervention does not stop system boot The instance value identifies the component in error.
8161 Major 1
Processor 02 unable to apply microcode update. Microcode version 01. The error code value identifies the error. major severity requires user intervention does not stop system boot The instance value identifies the component in error.
8180 Minor N/A
Bios does not support the current stepping for processor. The error code value indentifies the error Minor severity do not require user intervention or stop the booting of system
