    Reconstructing a RAID O array

    mcnulty17

I had a 2 hard drives in RAID 0 on my laptop configured with Intel(R) Matrix Storage Manager V8.9.0.1023.  One became disconnected, so I reconnected it.  Upon reconnecting it I have been unable to boot from or read data on the array.  When I boot into a Linux flash disk, both hard drives show up but the metadata seems to be missing for the second drive (the one that became disconnected).  Before I reformat everything, is there any way to repair the array (i.e. rebuild that missing metadata)?

So far it seems like the best lead may be RAID Reconstructor from Run-Time Software, but I wanted to see if their were any chipset/driver specific solutions to try first.

      Thanks.
