    Why my RAID 1 is Write-Protected ?

I have some problem with my RAID 5 and i decided to delete this volume to create a new RAID 1 volume.

Since the creation of the new volume, i'm unable to write on it. Windows success to initialize the disk (write the MBR), create a new partition but unable to format it (it still in RAW format).

The message is "The operation did not complete because the media is write-protected".

This volume containt 2 HD. The 3rd HD used for the old RAID 5 (but is non-raid now) still writeable...

      What can i do ?
