Can the MCPC read and write core registers?

      Hi.

I am wondering if there is a way of reading and writing core registers.

I have looked at the <SCC Platform Overview> document, and it says :

"With the sccKit, you can boot Linux on one or more cores, read and write core memory locations and registers, ..."

Can the MCPC read and write core registers such as eax via the sccKit?

If not, is there any way whatsoever to read and write the SCC cores' registers?

Either by MCPC or programs running on cores other than the one of which the registers I want to read.

      Thanks!
