ICH10 on S5520hcr hotswap?

i am installing a new server Windows SBS 2011 on a Intel S5520hcr Motherboard and like to hotswap some of the hardisks but it dosn't work.

I installed all the newest drivers but it is still the same. When i take out or put in a harddisk nothing happen. The system don't show any action.

in the BIOS i have activatet AHCI.

Is there somebody having an idea what can be wrong and how to make hotswap work?

What chassis are you using?

Drive hot swap is a function of the HSBP controller and is comunicated to the mother board via the IPMB cable.
