Most of the memory tools I'm seeing, are for the server stuff - http://imct.intel.com/ChooseBoard.aspx
Looking at the TPS for the Intel® Workstation Board WX58BP at http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/server/wx58bp/sb/CS-030315.htm , both tri-channel and dual-channel give better performance than single, but that's all it seems to say.
Thanks! That seems to be about all I can find, too.
As a corollary: on a six-slot triple channel mobo, does the memory controller access two DIMMs at a time, or one at a time?
Would that be relevent to my first question?
